Getting stakeholder buy-ins and alignment with a DLS was a uphill battle. Many, if not almost everyone in CPF had no idea what a Design Language System was. This was further exemplified when the first few screens that was going to go live was being built. As certain components / elements were still in the midst of development, some reliance with the DLS team in an agile setting was causing it to be flagged as a blocker. Overcoming this was through repeated teachings and co-creation with their internal design team. This helped to lead the charge for understanding and responsibilities when a handover happens.
